Accessibility statement
Last updated 28 October 2026.
We want everyone to be able to use oathstead.com, whatever device, settings or assistive technology they use. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we’ve done
- Text and buttons have strong colour contrast, and nothing relies on colour alone.
- Everything works with a keyboard, and the focus position is always visible.
- Buttons and links are at least 48 pixels tall, for easier tapping.
- The page works when zoomed to 400%, and with your own text sizes and colours.
- Form errors are listed at the top of the form, linked to each field, and announced by screen readers.
- The site uses no JavaScript, so it works with older browsers and assistive technology.
How we test
We check each page with the axe-core accessibility checker at desktop and phone sizes, and by hand with a keyboard.
